Reich der Tiere Im Gegensazt zu vielen anderen West Afrikanischen Länder hat Ghana keine riesigen Herden von Tieren. Viele der Tier Arten sind in Ghana ausegstorben zu denen gehören Giraffen und Cheetah. Rhinos, Gorillas und Zebras existieren hier nicht aber dafür hat Ghana viele andere Tier Arten viele davon vom aussterben bedroht. Ausser Großwild giebt es in Ghana etwa 400 verschieden Arten Schmetterlinge, über 300 Vögel und viele andere kleinere Tiere die noch nicht identifiziert wurden. Ghana hat auch eine große anzahl Tropischer Fische in kleinen Flüssen und Tümpeln sowie in den Größeren Wasserbecken.
Wir
haben versucht so viel Informationene zu sammeln wie möglich aber es umfasst
bei weitem nicht alle Tier Arten.

Like many other West African countries Ghana does not have huge herds of wildlife found in most of eastern and southern Africa and several large mammals associated with Africa do not occur in Ghana for instance rhino, zebra and gorilla. Many other large mammals like giraffe and cheetah have been driven to extinction in historic times. But despite all that Ghana has a lot to offer in the animal kingdom.
Apart from large animals Ghana has a tremendous variety of other animals for example 400 species of butterfly and over 300 species of birds and many other smaller animals which have not yet been identified. Ghana also offers a large number of tropical fish in little streams, rivers and lakes.
We have tried to gather as much information as possible for you regarding the animals which can be found in Ghana and we will update this information as frequently as possible. What you find on this site does surely not cover all the species which inhabit Ghana.
